NATURE EVERYWHERE

Many people forget that nature is always within reach, even when you are in the city. The trees that line the streets are no less natural than the trees in a forest. Flowers are just as beautiful in a vase as they are planted in soil.

Nature is more than just plants. It is also the elements. When you walk outside, the breeze that you feel on your face is the same movement of air no matter where you happen to be. The sun that warms you is the same sun that shines on everyone everywhere on the planet.

Going out of the city is a nice way to experience nature, but it is not only way. You can commune with nature even when you are walking on concrete and surrounded by buildings. Elements of nature are either within your vicinity or can be reached simply by stepping outside. You only need to open your eyes to see nature everywhere.

The Tao Today

Spiritual communion with nature is an important part of the Tao practice. It is the recognition that you are a part of nature, not apart from it. Take some time to step outside today. When you connect with nature, it will fill you with peace and a sense of appreciation for the wonders of the world.
