AWARENESS OF THE BREATH
The breath is the expression of your pure life force, the manifestation of intent. Without breath, life in this body is not possible, yet many people have not taken a conscious breath in a long, long time.
Practice
Stop for just a moment and breathe. Be conscious of the life force as it comes in and out of your body.
At this moment, you are alive and everything is possible. The only thing that matters is that breath. Your internal narrators may speak up and try to tell you that you have more important things to do or think about, but ignore them.
Have faith that all you need to do at this very moment is breathe. Close your eyes and listen to the breath without distractions. Let this remind you that all that matters is happening right now.
Every time you inhale, imagine love going directly to your heart, then circulating throughout your body, cleansing every emotion and every concept in your mind. With each exhale, release any idea or belief that no longer serves your highest good.
