THE ART OF L1FE

"Fuck pain. Fuck heartbreak. I'm still in love with life." - Daniele Bolelli

UNDERSTANDING KNOWLEDGE

Our mind has a need to name, describe, and understand the things that happen in our lives. We call the result of this process “knowledge,” and it helps us to understand the world and the universe and to communicate our ideas with others as we co-create the Dream of the Planet. But when it comes to understanding ourselves, knowledge is of little use. You may say things like, “I am a doctor, a father, a husband, a student,” but these words describe only the role you play; they say nothing about who you really are because you are much more than just a symbol.

Practice

Ask yourself the most important question: “Who am I?”

In your response, remember: Who you are is not your job, your life role in relation to someone else, or a role you aspire to have. Rather, who you are is who you are at the center. The answer is beyond all knowledge and cannot be expressed in words. Meditate on this today.
