ANGELS AMONG US

You may have heard stories about angels. They are said to be supernatural beings who manifest in our lives to render assistance or provide inspiration.

Reflect back on your life, and recall the times when you saw people rendering assistance and providing inspiration. Perhaps you were the beneficiary of their compassion. Perhaps some were kind to you when you were down-and-out. Perhaps some came to your aid just when you needed it most. They could not have done more for you if they had supernatural powers.

What if the concept of angels is a symbol, meant to represent the best of humanity? When you reach out a helping hand, you become the conduit for divine grace. When someone needs help, do we really need to look for supernatural assistance or inspiration? Why wait for angels from above, when we already have everything we need to be angels for one another?

The Tao Today

In the teachings of the Tao, heaven is a state of mind. It is possible for us to create heaven on earth when we follow the Tao. It is equally possible for us to extend the heaven that we create to touch someone. When we do that, we have literally become heaven-sent beings in that person’s life. We go beyond listening to stories of angels. We live them.
